On January 12, 2021, the administrative staff of the British University in Georgia held the kick-off meeting at the University Campus to discuss the working agenda. The University administration also welcomed the new team members and introduced them to their new working spaces.
The rector expressed her gratitude to those who contributed to the successful process of institutional authorisation. Moreover, she declared her readiness to continue working on the further adjustment of the internal institutional mechanisms and quality culture.
At the meeting, the staff prioritised upcoming tasks and discussed the timeline for their implementation. Additionally, they reviewed some recommendations given by the expert panel during the authorisation site visit and drafted the appropriate working plan.
The Head of the Department of International Relations discussed the importance of the partnership with the University of Buckingham. He highlighted the core aspects of the academic affiliation agreement with the University of Buckingham and explained the crucial role of the staff in the validation process.
The Head of the Administration set the agenda for the upcoming meetings with the QA Office, HR, PR and Legal Departments.
