Online Meeting with Representative of the University of Buckingham

The staff of the British University in Georgia and a representative of the University of Buckingham, Frances Robinson, held an online meeting to discuss important aspects of the partnership between the University of Buckingham and the British University in Georgia, as well as opportunities to support the staff of the British University in Georgia at the beginning of the university’s educational activities, as well as in the later stages.

The British University in Georgia was established with the support and partnership of the University of Buckingham and has already submitted an application to the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement in order to obtain authorisation in Georgia.

At the meeting with the university staff, Frances Robinson reaffirmed her readiness to work together and take steps to nurture future leaders and contribute to the transformation of society.

Frances Robinson shared the experience of herself and the University of Buckingham with the British University in Georgia team and expressed her readiness to support the young, competent and motivated team to help make a worthy contribution to the development of our country’s higher education system.

Frances Robinson answered the questions of the staff of the British University in Georgia and expressed hope that she would be able to come to Tbilisi and participate in the authorisation processes of the British University in Georgia.

Frances Robinson has been actively involved in the implementation of the university’s authorisation standards since the founding of the British University in Georgia. She has visited Tbilisi many times and held meetings with the university team.

After moving to remote methods of communication to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the British University in Georgia is actively cooperating with the University of Buckingham using electronic platforms.
