Maia Gurgenidze is a Professor of English Philology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Her areas of expertise include Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, and Translation Studies. She has been involved in conference committees and international projects. She is a visiting scholar at Meisei University and co-author of Macmillan textbooks. She teaches popular undergraduate courses in language and linguistics.

Assoc. Prof. Maya Daraselia has been working at the British University in Georgia since 2020. Prior to that, she was employed as an Associate Professor at Sokhumi State University from 2009 to 2020. She holds a Ph.D. in English Philology from Tbilisi State University and specializes in Cognitive Linguistics and the theory of metaphor. She participates in international scientific conferences and EU staff mobility programmes and has coordinated EU educational projects and chaired the MA programme in English Philology. She offers supervision for BA and MA theses and has served as an expert, opponent, and reviewer for PhD dissertations.

Associate Professor
Nana Gilauri is an Assistant Professor at the British University in Georgia and a lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She holds two Masters degrees from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and is pursuing a PhD there. Her research areas are linguistics, sociolinguistics, and language teaching methodology. Nana has published papers on political discourse and participated in international conferences. She is a member of the English Teachers’ Association of Georgia and a board member of the National Assessment and Examination Centre.

Nata Gugushvili is an Assistant Professor at British University in Georgia. She started teaching English in 1997 and has taught at various institutions such as International House, British Council, and Ilia State University. She holds a degree in Simultaneous Interpretation and has professional certificates in teaching English as a foreign language. Nata has taught General English, IELTS, TOEFL, FCE, CAE and Proficiency and delivered teacher training courses in Georgia.
